Alfred and Arthur were currently receiving orders from there boss. They needed to collect human souls. "I need human souls, and you two are right for the job." Alfred looked at his so called brother. "Why do I have to work with him?" "Like I want to work with you, git." There boss came up with an idea. "How about a competition? Let's see who can collect the most souls." Alfred smirked. Arthur scowled.
They went above ground to Earth, and started the competition.
~back to you~
School had just let out, so you were heading toward the city to buy yourself a pretzel (if you don't like pretzels, insert anything). You went to the park after that.
Odd , it was empty. You walked around, not noticing a person following you. The person grabbed your arm you screamed. Then, another person flew down and clashed in to the first person.
"This soul is mine!"
"No way, dude!" You noticed they had dark hair. They had devil-like wings. The shorter devil was thrown to a tree with a great force. The devil groaned in pain. The taller one smirked. "What Iggy? Ya' gonna give up know???"
"I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT!" The shorter one quickly got up and grabbed the tall one. He threw him to a far away abandoned shop. You just stood their in shock. You did not run away. It was like you were frozen.
The two devils stared at each other for a second, and then collapsed to the ground.
You hesitantly walked up to the two of them. They were bleeding. One by one, you tried to drag them inside the abandoned store. They were still wounded, so you looked around the store to look for supplies. It astounded you that you were unfazed by the sight of demons. You wondered why.
After finding a first-aid kit, you headed back to them. You cleansed their wounds and wrapped them in cloth.It did not look like they were going to wake up, so you took a short nap.
When you woke up, still no sign they were going to wake up. Then you heard the two of them groan. They woke up, so you stood up. When they opened their eyes in sync, there eyes widened.
"_-____?!"
"H-how do you know my name?"
One of them gave you a sad look. "You don't remember me?" The other one looked at you in surprise.
"I certainly do not know you two."
"Oh..." They had mourn written on their faces. They were heading out the door. "Thanks for what you did, ____."
"W-wait, Alfred! A-Arthur!
It all came back to you. The reason why you lived alone. Why they knew your name. Everything.
~flashback~
You were 12 years old. A big demon came and took your parent's life. You were outside crying. Two men came by and talked to you. One had funny eyebrows and green eyes. The other one was a man wearing glasses with blue eyes. They took care of you until you were fifteen. That is when they suddenly disappeared. You were almost killed by a car and lost your memories. You were sent to a hospital..... that was all you could remember. Life continued.
~end of flashback~
The two men turned around. It was them. Your heart beat a thousand times per second. You then noticed. You loved them both. Not in a childish and friendly way. In a passionate way. You cried on the spot. It WAS them. Arthur gave you a hug, and Alfred patted your head and grinned from ear to ear.
After a 2 minutes of Arthur hugging you and crying (and Alfred having to pull Arthur off of you),they explained why they were there and why they were demons.
"So... wait. If you two are demons.. then does that mean this is the last time I will see you?"
Alfred and Arthur looked at each other and whispered. Then they looked at you. You were waiting for an answer.
"We can be together forever, ____. But you will have to give up your life here in this city."
You looked away from them. "Alright. But only because I love you guys...."
Arthur just blushed. "W-what?!"
Alfred grinned and patted your head. "Alright! Let's go!~"
In a second, you two arrived in hell, but it was different than you imagined. Instead of the inferno everyone expected it to be, it an old time village, with a fire every now and then (I am sorry, I cant imagine the "inferno >_<). You followed the men to their home. You were so sleepy. You collapsed once you made it inside. Alfred set you down on a sofa.
"My, it seems the trip here made her tired...." Arthur and Alfred looked at you.
Arthur kissed you on the cheek, "I love you, ___."
Alfred kissed you quickly on the lips, "Love ya', __."
You smiled. "I love you too guys......" Who knew two devils could be so sweet to a mortal like you?
